Position Title: Production Wheel Finishing
Wage: $18.50/hour $2.00 Shift Premium (2nd Shift)
Shift: 1st or 2nd
Hours: 7:00am - 3:15pm or 3:00pm - 11:00pm

Production Wheel Finishing Responsibilities:
- Stage and transfer cheese wheels and products into work areas, accurately recording ingredient amounts and lot numbers
- Inspect cheese for defects, mold, or foreign materials, and manually apply rub ingredients as specified
- Load cheese wheels into treating tubs, transfer them to drying racks, and package and label finished products
- Perform daily and periodic sanitation tasks, including handling and mixing cleaning chemicals
- Maintain FIFO principles and comply with safety, HACCP, and GMP policies throughout production
- Read, comprehend, and prepare production worksheets in English while reporting any food safety or quality concerns to management
Requirements for Production Wheel Finishing:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, and conversions) and ability to follow written instructions
- Ability to read, comprehend, and prepare production worksheets in English
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and teamwork mindset
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, and perform repetitive tasks in a refrigerated environment (40-55F)
- Willingness to work in a wet, noisy environment with exposure to sanitation chemicals and ingredient odors
