Position Title : Maintenance Tech
Salary : $52,000-$62,400 per year
Shift : 1st
Hours : 6 : 00am-3 : 00pm (Mon-Fri)
QPS Employment Group has a great Maintenance Tech position available at a company in Fond du Lac, WI. This is a 1st shift, direct hire position.
Maintenance Tech Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- General understanding of the manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment operations, safety requirements and departmental procedures.
- Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) on all machinery.
- Remove and install tools into designated presses based on direction from supervisor.
- Replace seals, fill guns, knock outs, and other accessories as needed to support production.
- Properly document maintenance performed so that accurate records can be kept.
- Install logo plates and inserts as needed.
- Label defective materials for rebuild, store in proper location.
- Storage and safe handling of tools.
- Help to identify leaks in tooling and repair as needed.
- Ensure that all new and existing equipment or machinery is operating properly.
- Perform light construction tasks, such as building repairs, painting, general upkeeping as needed.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues to identify root cause.
- Recognize and adhere to all best practices for safety (i.e., lock out / tag out, etc.).
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Serve as an advanced technical resource in a given maintenance specialty (i.e. fabrication, hydraulics, pneumatics, controllers, etc.).
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, and control systems at various voltages (120V, 277V, 240V, 480V).
- Monitor and maintain outside building maintenance as needed (shoveling, salting, etc.).
- Perform any other functions and responsibilities as assigned.
