What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trimmer position at QPS Employment Group?
Position Title: Trimmer
Wage: $16.25 - $17.00/Hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday - Friday, Overtime as Needed)

Trimmer Responsibilities:
- Prepare material for bending by slitting and hemming the product
- Place materials into the machine according to the program
- Thread metal sheets through rolls for forming
- Load coils and operate crane as needed
- Assess quality of finished product with protractor and tape rule
- Place finished components on table to be moved into the packaging area
- Assist wrapper in the proper packaging of products that minimizes (or eliminates) damage to the material
- Keep assigned work area in a neat and orderly fashion that displays both a positive image of the company and allows the job to be performed in an efficient manner
Requirements For Trimmer:
- Previous experience in machine operation
- Experience with operating overhead cranes
- Longevity in manufacturing work history
- Able to stand throughout entire shift
- Able to read, write and understand English
