The Administrator I, Metrology is part of the Laboratory & Compliance Management (LCM) support unit within the Department of Translational Medicine (TLM) and is responsible for performing calibration and maintenance of pipettes and liquid handlers in TLM. are critical to being successful in this role.

The Job
- Perform equipment calibration and documentation per SOP and any relevant guidance
- Provide preventative maintenance on pipettes and liquid handlers
- Follow GDP documentation for calibration and maintenance activities
- Visually inspect and / or use testing equipment as required to determine service issues on pipettes and liquid handlers
- Troubleshoot the problem and identify root cause of repair issues
- Strictly follow SOPs and safety guidelines
- Maintain a good working habit, equipment are calibrated in clean areas and test equipment and tools are organized and clean.
- Provide input to management on future needs for lab functions
- Maintain inventory of reagents and consumables

University / College Degree in relevant Scientific discipline, and / or
