Key Responsibilities:
- Perform professional chimney sweeping services, including inspections and cleanings.
- Assess chimney safety, identifying potential hazards, and providing repair recommendations.
- Install and repair chimney liners, caps, dampers, and masonry structures as needed.
- Conduct minor masonry repairs related to chimney systems, such as repointing and or rebuilding.
- Work in compliance with safety regulations, utilizing company-provided safety equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining findings and recommendations clearly to clients.
- Keep accurate records of inspections, services performed, and materials used.
- Transport equipment and tools to job sites using company-provided vehicles.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in masonry or related fields; chimney-specific experience preferred.
- Ability to safely use ladders, harnesses, and other equipment to access high locations.
- Strong knowledge of chimney systems, masonry repair techniques, and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy equipment and materials.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Willingness to undergo mentor-led training and pursue continued professional development.
