We seek a data-driven and results-oriented Product Automation Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will take ownership of product data management and workflow automation, driving revenue growth through efficient, scalable processes. You will manage large data sets, develop automation workflows, and ensure seamless platform integration. Your efforts will directly impact our ability to launch products on schedule with complete, accurate data, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer experience. This position requires analytical problem-solving, attention to detail, and technical expertise in automation tools.

Key Responsibilities
Manage large product data sets across multiple manufacturers and product categories, ensuring compliance with product standards.
Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal teams to gather and validate product details.Maintain consistent product taxonomy and categorization.Organize product data into templates to facilitate the creation and mass transfer of data.Prioritize product launches to align with marketing strategies and business goals.Measure of Success : 10,000 products are launched on schedule with complete, accurate data optimized for SEO and marketing objectives.Automation DevelopmentIdentify repetitive, manual tasks in product data management and merchandising.
Develop scripts and templates to streamline data extraction, transformation, validation, and uploads.Build automation workflows using tools like Zapier, Make (Integromat), Python scripts, and APIs.Implement AI-powered solutions to generate product descriptions, titles, and metadata.Measure of Success : Reduced cycle time for product data processing with automation covering at least 80% of recurring tasks (scaling from 200 to 1200 products / month).Process OptimizationImprove workflows to reduce manual data entry and leverage technology to handle repetitive tasks.
Identify and implement new tools to automate product data management.Measure of Success : Documented workflows that detail each step of the process and continuously identify the next area to improve.System IntegrationUpload all product data to eCommerce systems and data management platforms.
Integrate automation tools with systems and our e-commerce platform.Monitor data flows across platforms to ensure seamless synchronization and consistency.Measure of Success : Zero data sync errors and seamless updates across all platforms.Data Integrity and Quality ControlVerify that product details match datasheets, vendor specifications, and platform requirements.
Ensure the accuracy of complex attributes that affect product searchability, filtering, and display.Implement AI and manual QC processes to validate outputs before product listings go live.Conduct regular audits to maintain clean, error-free data and ensure the proper functioning of automation workflows.Measure of Success : 0% errors found during audits or reports by customers or internal teams.Key Challenges
This role will require balancing schedule demands with new workflow creation, which includes :
Managing Large, Complex Data Sets : Standardizing and maintaining accurate product data across multiple vendors and platforms while handling high volumes.Balancing Speed and Accuracy : Meeting deadlines for product launches without compromising data integrity, leading to potential errors and customer issues.Scaling Automation and Processes : Developing and maintaining automation workflows to handle repetitive tasks while adapting to changing data formats and technology updates.Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience :
3-5 years of experience in data management as an analyst, engineer, or developer.Ability to organize, upload, and maintain large data sets across platforms. Ideally, product data (e.g., SKUs, pricing, dimensions).Experience with automation tools (e.g., Excel macros, Python scripts, Zapier, APIs, AI) to streamline data workflows.Meticulous attention is needed to ensure zero errors are made in product listings, attributes, and pricing.Ability to audit and cross-check product data against vendor specifications to maintain data integrity.Stay updated on eCommerce platform changes, industry best practices, and emerging tools for automation and data management.Quickly identify and resolve data, integration, or performance issues as they arise.Preferred Skills :
Knowledge of SEO best practices to improve product visibility and search rankings.Ability to craft compelling product titles, descriptions, and meta tags that drive engagement and conversions.Familiarity with tactics like upselling, cross-selling, and bundling to increase average order value (AOV) and conversions.Familiarity with eCommerce and B2B businesses.What We Offer
