- Educate patients and their families on dialysis procedures, medication administration, and self-care techniques.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including vital signs and treatment progress, in accordance with established standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.
- Provide support and guidance to junior nursing staff and assist in training programs as needed.
Skills
- Proficient in medication administration and understanding of ICD-10 coding for documentation purposes.
- Experience working in a Level II Trauma Center or Teaching Hospital is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of critical care transport protocols and neonatal ventilator management is advantageous.
- Ability to provide senior care with empathy and professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
