Primary job duties and responsibilities:
· Perform body repairs and refinishing
· Inspect units and parts scheduled to be painted for damage and alignment issues
· Prepare projects for paint by performing body repairs and refinishing
· Inspect surfaces for cleanliness and quality
· Utilize various materials, industry-standard tools and equipment effectively to complete body work finishing and repairs
· Fill, sand, mask, primer, and paint metal fabricated projects
· Track and record projects
· Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times
Qualifications include:
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience in auto body repair
· Must be able to use body shop equipment and tools effectively
· Able to lift/push/pull up to and not limited to 50 pounds
· Able to climb on ladders and maneuver equipment around large objects
· Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
