QSR Automations is looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer!

Job Summary:

QSR Automations has an immediate opening for an exceptional, results-oriented individual for the role of Senior Software Development Engineer in Louisville, KY. This role will report directly to the manager of software development and is focused on the creation and maintenance of components for QSR Kitchen Automation offerings.

What you will be doing:

• Work in an Agile Kanban team to complete frontend and backend projects for QSR’S Kitchen Automation solutions
• Development using C , C#, .NET 8, HTML/JavaScript/Typescript, REST, and MySQL, currently running under Kubernetes on AWS
• Ensure solutions are observable, maintainable, performant, and appropriately tested
• Create developer-level documentation, to maintain consistent designs and support maintenance efforts
• Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of QSR’s enterprise systems, and contribute to architecture and design decisions
• Assist in the troubleshooting of issues and defects, and provide timely fixes
• Work with Business Analysts to ensure requirements are well-understood and appropriately defined
• Work with DevOps and the team to identify and resolve production issues
• Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement in technology and processes

What skills & experience you’ll bring to us:

Required:

• 5 years of professional development experience in C , C# and .NET
• Experience with development of Microsoft Windows based applications.
• Experience developing with MySQL, or Postgres
• Experience with RESTful API’s
• Experience with unit testing and dependency injection frameworks
• Professional experience developing web applications
• Comfortable supporting and maintaining existing applications, in addition to doing new development
• Capability to conduct problem-solving and troubleshooting efforts
• Ability to work with minimal guidance to complete tasks
• Comfortable writing for, and presenting to, technical and non-technical audiences
• Must have the right to permanently work in the US without sponsorship

Desired:

• Experience in restaurant operations
• Experience working in an agile team
• Experience with microservice architecture
• Experience with a front-end framework such as Vue (preferred), React, or Angular
• Experience developing/maintaining applications deployed with Docker/Kubernetes
• Experience with automated testing frameworks
• Experience with cloud-based web applications or web services (any cloud provider is acceptable, prefer AWS)

What the role is:

• Full-time, salaried position
• Regular M-F business hours
• Based out of our Louisville, Kentucky headquarters, hybrid/virtual
• Minimal travel required (onsite meetings in Louisville a few times per year)
