ENIGNEER IN TRAINING (EIT)
Serves as an engineer in training, performing a variety of engineering duties in the areas of highway and/or bridge construction; receiving guidance from higher level staff assigned to the work unit. Duty post assignments are project specific and could be located throughout the State of Arizona or require travel.
Prefer candidates with 2-4 years post graduation date with relevant experience working as civil engineering graduate.

ENIGNEER IN TRAINING (EIT)

- Assist with inspection and construction management quality assurance and other project deliverables while working with the engineering team and other disciplines within the project team.
- Makes technical assumptions, thinks independently to complete assigned work, and draws engineering conclusions
- Participate as a team member, contributing ideas and possible solutions, and leading on issues where appropriate.
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering Licensure: Registered or the ability to register as an EIT within 6 months of hiring
- Minimum of 1 -2 years including internship in heavy civil construction/public works.
- Ability to work effectively with limited supervision. Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills.
- Transportation - Highway - Bridge - Airport - Public Works - ACI certification ATTI Certification (Concrete/Asphalt)
