Seeking a senior Inspector for Structures/Bridges for an ADOT highway project. This is a fulltime position.
Job Requirements
Experienced in heavy civil highway projects specific to roads and bridges. Senior Inspection regarding all bridge structures. (FHWA-NBI) AZ experience within ADOT
Perform contract item inspections for ensuring compliance with plans and specifications on all phases of highway and bridge construction projects..
Inspects work standards: production, productivity, and quality standards; resolving operational problems; identifying work process improvement.
Approves incoming materials by auditing adherence to specifications, conduct of visual and measurement tests, and materials rejection.
Approves in-process production by auditing adherence to specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and communicating required adjustments to production personnel.
Approves finished products by auditing adherence to specifications, conduct of visual and measurement tests, return of products for re-work and waster reports; inputting data into quality database.
Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Prefer: Civil Engineering Degree but open to inspector with bridge inspection and roadway inspection
Candidates should have the following certifications: ACI Field and or ATTI Field Certifications
Ideal candidates will also have ATTSA Traffic Management Certification.
Other desirable certifications: NICET
Candidates will have bridge inspection experience with ADOT or other DOT.

Work Environment
