WHO YOU ARE:

As a QTS Applications Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing, customizing and optimizing a variety of Enterprise Applications at QTS Data Centers as well as ensuring their efficiency and security while meeting business needs. This includes user/license management, access using single-sign-on, supporting the administrative requests and incidents from QTSers for the applications, continual improvement to reduce friction in the overall employee experience. Applications included, but not limited to are: Atlassian (Jira, Confluence), GitHub, Figma, Pendo, Smartsheet, Macabacus, DocuSign, and various Microsoft software titles (ex: Project).

This position requires the ability to transform an application used by the business into one sanctioned and supported by our IT organization and aligned to our policies governing the SaaS data and access to the SaaS applications.

RESPONSIBILITIES, Other Duties May Be Assigned

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams to gather and scope request, enhancement and project requirements
  • Proactively identify issues and implement solutions to improve workflows, thus improving employee experience (Jira, DocuSign, Smartsheet, and others)
  • Communicate to the user base enhancements and changes made within applications, ensuring awareness and training (if needed)
  • Ensure all application access is aligned to systems access policies, including documented access requests, use of corporate credentials with SSO and cloud group enabled access rights
  • Support integrations for responsible applications as requested, including new integrations, as well as maintaining and troubleshooting existing integrations
  • Perform user access audits, clean-ups, and reported true-ups on routine basis.
  • Participate in renewal discussion with vendors representing our customer’s needs (more licenses, more features)
  • Create, publish and maintain reference documentation, user guides, tips, FAQ’s and training materials for end-users of Enterprise Applications
  • Represent QTS in any Enterprise Application support issues that are escalated to the suppliers. Tracking issues from submission to completion on behalf of QTS users.
  • Provide application Administration functions such as adding users, roles, and access to features and services within the application.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2 years experience in SaaS software administration services on Atlassian Jira/Confluence
  • 1 Experience in GitHub administration
  • Fluency in SQL, JQL
  • Experience integrating Jira, Confluence with other applications using REST API's and using/extending REST API using Java for Jira/Confluence
  • US Citizenship for this position is required by law due to federal customer contracts

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Jira Administrator for Cloud Certification (preferred)
  • Experience with Smartsheet & DocuSign, as well as other listed applications
  • Familiarity of the Principles of Software Asset Management (SAM) – license optimization/harvesting
  • Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle and SaaS DevOps tools supporting this community of users

  • Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills with all levels of the organization.
  • Use organizational skills to determine prioritization and appropriate multitasking.
  • Proven experience in Jira, Confluence, GitHub administration
  • Excellent writing skills for generating clear, concise documentation and communications.
  • Strong analytical capabilities coupled with business acumen needed to proactively solve problems facing the organization.
  • Ability to work independently, with supervision, on projects of varying complexity
  • Actively invests in growing yourself and others to build the talent and capabilities required for sustained success.
