The Contracts Associate is responsible for developing a cohesive mutual relationship with our customers and internal partners from the beginning of the quoting process to the completion of payment.
RESPONSIBILITIES, other duties may be assigned.
- Primary focus is to provide exceptional customer service to high priority customers.
- Successfully build and maintain good working relationships with high priority customers.
- Participate in customer on-boarding calls and ongoing customer communication(s).
- Manage customer inquiries (both external and internal) to ensure that they are addressed in a timely manner and appropriately resolved.
- Review and interpret customer contract details to ensure accuracy of quote detail input into Salesforce.
- This job will require the ability to effectively work with a cross functional counterpart to identify and implement the resolution to the issues identified related to the quote detail input into Salesforce, as well as documenting the issues as needed for reporting purposes.
- Assists Contract/Billing Manager as needed with researching, developing, writing and updating contract/billing policies, procedures, methods and guidelines.
- Apply critical thinking skills to identify internal errors and troubleshoot.
- Analyze and review detailed ordering and contract data information contained within cross functional systems, Salesforce and Workday, in order to identify and resolve data discrepancies between the respective systems, as it relates to customer contracts/work orders.
- Ensures transactions are recorded, reviewed, presented and supported in accordance with company policies, generally accepted accounting principles and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) controls.
- Assists Contract/Billing Manager as needed with researching, developing, writing, and updating contract/billing policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines.
- Support of internal and external auditors.
- Can perform all facets of the job and regularly takes above & beyond projects.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Four plus years of recent billing and/or contract experience or related experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate or bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- Six plus years of billing and/or contract experience
- Workday or other large Enterprise Resource Planning software experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Demonstrated success in providing accurate and compliant contract and billing practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively with all levels within the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to work with customers to ensure partnership and collaborative fiduciary responsibility for QTS.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office notably Excel
- Strong Organizational skills
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Multitasking capability
- Ability to work under pressure/deadline driven environment.
