Who You Are:
As a Senior Manager, Executive Protection you take passion in driving operational security excellence across any organization you are a part of.
The Impact You Will Have:
You will be the guardian of the executive protection for our Corporate Headquarters by safeguarding our top leaders as they travel, make public appearances, and throughout their daily routines as well as mitigate potential threats and foster peace of mind for leaders who drive our company’s success.
What You Will Do:
- Management of Executive Protection program, to include coordinating with third party security resources for Executive Protection, managing the budget and scheduling of services
- Provide a safe and protective environment for senior executives and other visitors and/or dignitaries visiting the executives
- Remain ready to provide safe, defensive driving for executives to and from work, business meetings, and special events
- Conduct advance special event surveys in preparation for executive travel
- Assist with executive security at special events
- Liaise with local and Federal Law Enforcement agencies for local threat intelligence and incident response
- Create reports and prepare executive level presentations on the status of physical security operations
- Collaborate with QTS Intelligence functions (internal and external resources) to develop briefing packets for QTS Executive travel, especially with regards to international travel requirements
- Provide quarterly threat briefings for Executive team which include trends, guidance, and best practices
- Assume availability to respond appropriately to all requests for emergency and non-emergency assistance in a professional manner
- Serve as primary center point for disseminating intelligence regarding security-related incidents which may occur while traveling
- Coordinate contingency plans and emergency medical response for security incidents while traveling
- Oversee the implementation of security/access control measures at executive’s residences, places of employment, and travel locations
- Possess a professional and customer service demeanor
- Ability to work independently and to adapt to various work spaces while always maintaining a high-level of attentiveness, energy and professionalism
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, military preferred
- At least 8 years of experience as an Executive Protection or Personal Protective Specialist
- Meet the criteria to be a privileged person under the Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA)
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- As a function of the role, must be able to maintain physical readiness to always respond to security incidents or hazards
- Maintain the ability to stand for several hours in support of protective coverage and work nontraditional hours
- Professional Certification (ex. CPP, PSP, CSSM)
- 5 years of experience in protective intelligence, physical security, emergency response, as well as security protocol implementation
- 5 years of experience in advance level training in medical emergencies, defensive tactics, evasive defensive driver training, and tactical firearms
- Previous home security experience, including a working knowledge of the integration residential alarm and surveillance systems, access control
- CPR, AED and Basic First Aid Certification
- Must be able to pass our pre-employment background investigation, meet physical requirements and pass controlled substance testing
