The Quabbin Regional School District is seeking an experienced secondary Biology Teacher for the 2025-26 school year.Responsibilities include: - Extensive knowledge in subject area; Experience teaching AP Biology/Biotech is preferred.- Design lessons with clear, measurable goals; plan and implement effective lessons that engage students in active learning: - Must be consistent in communicating high standards and expectations to students;- Ability to plan formative and summative assessments that inform instruction;- Must be able to incorporate higher order thinking skills into lesson planning; - Collaboration with members of the department is essential: - Provide communication with parents to give feedback on student performance.This position may also have the potential for teaching AP Biology, Biotechnology and Anatomy and Physiology depending upon interest, level of experience and staffing patterns
