What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middle School Project Lead the Way Teacher(STEM) position at Quaboag Regional Middle High School?
Primary Function: Plan, teach, and evaluate assigned courses/ PLTW modules designed to meet the
Massachusetts Science, Technology, and Engineering Frameworks. Perform those tasks associated with the teaching profession in general. Collaborate with and support the work of Science and Math classroom teachers. Inspire middle school students in all aspects of Science, Math, Technology and Engineering for future course and career pathways.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field / MA DESE license in STEM related field
Responsibilities:
Uses activities, project, and problem-based learning that have real world application
Allows students to explore math, science and technology
Attend necessary training (including summer)
Participate as an active member of the Technology Committee
Introduce district selected computer applications to students
Assist with the dissemination of materials related to computer technology
Expand the STEM initiative at the middle school level
Technology and coaching professional development
Teach other assigned subjects
Salary: As per agreement between Quaboag Regional School District and the Quaboag Education Association
