Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and adaptable Substitute Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a supportive and engaging learning environment for students in the absence of their regular teacher. This role requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage diverse classroom dynamics effectively. The Substitute Teacher will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of education and ensuring that students remain engaged and productive during their learning experience.
Qualifications:
o MA Teacher License preferred but not required
o Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required
o Effective instructional abilities, strong classroom management skills
Responsibilities:
o Ability to teach curriculum and lessons
o Strong classroom management and positive behavior skills
o Excellent communication and collaborative skills with students, staff and parents
o Ability to portray a positive role model to students
o Ability to differentiate instruction for individual students and small groups o Ability to make accommodations for different learning styles o Other duties as assigned by principal
