What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dietary Aide position at Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center?
Quaboag Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center is looking for dietary aides to join our team!
1 - Full-time opening on day shift
1 - Part time opening on evenings.
Every other weekend (to include Saturday and Sunday) is a requirement of these schedules.
Dietary Aide responsibilities:
- Accurately record meals served and monitor temperatures of food
- Ensure compliance with sanitation
- Prepare meals and beverages using specific procedures
- Serve meals using standards to maintain sanitation and quality
- Clean assigned dining areas using appropriate procedures
- Store stock appropriately in order to maintain cleanliness and prevent food spoilage
- Wash dishes and/or utensils according to acceptable standards of practice
Dietary Aide skills Familiar with clinical diets
Requirements:
Willing and able to work well within a team environment
Able to work quickly and efficiently
Culinary and/or food service experience in a health care facility an asset
Able to read and interpret common recipes
Able to stand for long periods of time and lift 30 pounds
Strong customer service skills
Candidates with no prior experience will be considered!
