Director of Operations
Our manufacturing client is seeking a Director of Operations to join their Millville, NJ team.
The role will be responsible for plant operations development and management, including HR, production, maintenance, warehousing, safety, quality, and shipping / receiving. The Director of Operations will also develop and implement operational plan, ensure proper procedures, and perform organizational efficiency evaluation.
Responsibilities of the Director of Operations
- Developing, implementing, and reviewing company operational guidelines and policies
- Creating and tracking organizational KPIs to ensure quality, safety, cost, and delivery targets are met
- Cultivating and maintaining a continuous improvement culture
- Working with Human Resources on job description creation, hiring, and employee training programs oversight
- Collaborating with Costing Analyst and Plant Controller on finished goods costing and plant budget monitoring
- Tracking organizational revenue margins and performing budget reviews
- Managing procurement and recourse allocation
- Coordinating new products, line extensions, existing products, and revision development
