Technical Support Engineer
Our client is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join their team on a contract to hire basis. Position requires on site presence at organization’s Conshohocken and Center City Philadelphia locations; local candidates only.
The Technical Support Engineer will be responsible for providing deskside and phone support to employees at all levels. Strong communication skills are a must.
Responsibilities of the Technical Support Engineer
Configuring and shipping equipment and computers
Maintenance of computer inventory
Assisting with technology assets documentation
Collaborating with Human Resources on onboarding/offboarding requirements
Processing new hire access requests in various internally managed applications (Active Directory, SharePoint, etc.)
Acting as main point of contact for IT equipment collection and employee access termination requests
Answering incoming IT related calls
Requirements of the Technical Support Engineer
5 years experience desktop/IT support experience that includes Tier 1 troubleshooting and ticketing systems
Active Directory experience
Phone management systems experience a plus
Strong time management abilities
Microsoft Office proficiency
Additional Details:
Compensation: $35-$40/hr ($75k-$85k perm salary)
Employment type: contract to hire
The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
