Quad City Bank & Trust is looking for an Employee Development & Client Experience Manager to join our Retail team! This position leads strategy to support a high-performing learning organization. The position will partner with leadership to develop and implement solutions that align with key business strategies. The position is responsible for conducting informative training sessions, promote company efficiency, and improve the skill of bank personnel. A specialist responsible for increasing the company's productivity by teaching new skills and knowledge to employees. Responsibilities will include leading and supporting the assessment of organizational development needs to the design, implementation, and evaluation of programs that facilitate professional development, continuous learning, and enhanced performance. This includes support of new hires as well as ongoing training to current staff. This position will also be responsible for establishing Retail sales campaigns and training staff to support campaigns. This role could support multiple departments of QCBT based on training needs.
Ideal candidates will have a college degree or 2 years of proven experience of training in banking or related course work. Strong client service focus. Great communicator with the ability to effectively describe complicated ideas to different audiences. Highly organized. Proficient in time management. Excellent public speaking skills. Excellent interpersonal skills (outgoing personality, good eye contact, good listener, etc). Capable of exercising discretion and using independent judgement. Ability to maintain composure and manage stressful situations. Ability to manage and maintain confidential information. Ability to manage a variety of tasks and work in a highly interceptive environment. Ability to proactively sell all products and services offered by the Bank. Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design models is preferred. Excellent ability to communicate verbally with customers, both personally and via telephone. Excellent writing skills to communicate with customer, internal staff, and various compliance authorities. Excellent understanding of personal and business finance and which Bank products best meet certain financial and economic situations. Excellent ability to interpret and analyze basic financial information. Ability to adapt to changes in policy, procedures, methods of operation and customer traffic volume. Ability to operate a computer and Bank specific software applications including, but not limited to, word processing applications.
