Job Summary
The Funds Management Specialist is primarily responsible for managing the daily cash position for Quad City Bank & Trust and related QCRH Banks, including determining where to buy/sell fed funds and maintaining target balances at the upstream correspondent banks within regulatory guidelines.
Essential Functions
The minimum starting salary for this position is $46,000. The actual wage will be based on qualifications and business needs and may vary, as permitted by applicable state law.

Job Summary
The Funds Management Specialist is primarily responsible for managing the daily cash position for Quad City Bank & Trust and related QCRH Banks, including determining where to buy/sell fed funds and maintaining target balances at the upstream correspondent banks within regulatory guidelines.
Essential Functions
- Coordinate funding for the banks, including adequate funding for downstream correspondent and sister banks’ anticipated activity. This includes actively cooperating with and interacting with other departments and facilities to advance the overall interest of Quad City Bank & Trust and QCRH.
- Maintain a proficient knowledge of applicable compliance statues, regulations, and interpretations.
- Act as primary contact for upstream correspondent bank relationships
- Reconciliation of GLs assigned to ensure timely clearing and appropriate funding to cover cash letter and electronic clearing activity.
- Make daily fed fund investment decisions on behalf of the bank(s) assuring minimal concentration of funds and risk.
- Perform system/user administrative functions for online banking portals to upstream correspondent systems.
- Drive semi-annual access reviews for correspondent portals.
- Maintain education and professional expertise through attendance of job-related seminars, conferences, and workshops as needed.
- Monitor Public Fund balances and maintain appropriate collateral requirements
- Monitor T-Bill rates monthly and update corresponding account rates.
- Comply with all company or regulatory policies, procedures and requirements applicable to this position.

- High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or other related are preferred.
- A minimum of five years ‘prior experience in banking or an accounting-related field, or equivalent experience.
