Job Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support, handling inquiries, and resolving issues promptly. Ideal candidates will have experience with Prophet 21, a robust ERP solution designed for distributors, to streamline communication and improve service efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding service to customers via phone, email, and chat
- Process orders, returns, and exchanges with accuracy and efficiency
- Manage and resolve customer complaints, ensuring positive outcomes
- Ensure timely and accurate communication with customers about order status, shipping, and inventory updates
- Utilize Prophet 21 ERP system to track orders, manage inventory, and process customer data
- Work closely with sales, inventory, and warehouse teams to ensure customer needs are met
- Maintain a thorough understanding of products, services, and company policies to effectively assist customers
- Prepare and maintain customer reports and documentation
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher is a plus
- 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a B2B environment
- Strong knowledge of Prophet 21 (ERP experience preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities with a customer-first mentality
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in distribution, manufacturing, or wholesale industries
- Familiarity with product pricing, shipping logistics, and order processing
- Prior use of Prophet 21 ERP software to handle customer orders, inventory, and invoicing
