Quad is seeking Industrial Mechanic Apprentices for our LOMIRA, WI plant location.
This is a 4-year, State of Wisconsin Registered Apprenticeship program that combines on-the-job training with classroom instruction at an approved technical college.
While in the plant, Quad’s mechanic apprentice will be responsible for the following:

While in the plant, Quad’s mechanic apprentice will be responsible for the following:
- Working a 12-hour shift. Days, nights, and weekends. Flexibility in hours if required to work around school schedule.
- Assisting with the servicing, troubleshooting, and installation of production and automated support equipment.
- Completing rotations through various maintenance departments; Equipment Maintenance, Quad Metal Works, Predictive, and Rebuild divisions.
- The graduating apprentice will receive a State of Wisconsin Certificate of Apprenticeship for Maintenance Mechanic.
- The graduating apprentice will be working a 12-hour shift. Days, nights, and weekends as needed.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required, as select candidates will be required to complete a standard admissions assessment at an approved technical college.
- Strong verbal and written comprehension, with the ability to thrive in a team environment and work well under supervision.
- The ability to work responsibly in a variety of industrial environments, including at heights up to 50 feet.
- Mechanical aptitude, strong math skills, and basic computer skills are highly desirable.
