Responsibilities
- Reads and understands Job Binder, Press Instructions, Formatted sample, templates, and Make-ready Checklist.
- Performs Departmental Preventative Maintenance on press equipment as assigned.
- Responsible for the safe and effective operation of assigned press equipment.
- Performs Quality Checks on products.
- Provides training and direction to newly hired or promoted press crewmembers.
- Assists Press Operator in maintaining production standards
- Follows all established safety procedures and guidelines.
- Maintains job-related records and inputs production into Quad systems as required.
- Manages self-development
- Actively participates in safety programs, follows safety policies and procedures and maintains a safe work environment.
- Other duties as assigned
- 2-3 years of Print or Bindery experience
- Knowledge of Converting and inkjet equipment helpful
- Strong mechanical aptitude
