What are the responsibilities and job description for the Indigo Press Operator Team Member position at Quad?
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Digital Press Operator to join our team at the Quad East Coast Supercenter in Westampton, NJ.
About the Position
In this role, you will be responsible for operating the HP Indigo 12000 digital press and ensuring the production of high-quality products at the lowest possible cost. You will also be responsible for selecting substrates, maintaining quality standards, and collaborating with other teams to ensure quality output.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in printing, with experience working with digital presses, AQ (aqueous/water-based) and UV coaters, and four-color process printing. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
- Operate the HP Indigo 12000 digital press and ensure quality control
- Select substrates used for specific jobs
- Maintain quality standards and specifications
- Collaborate with Customer Service, Sales, and Customers to ensure quality output
