The Manager, Corporate Talent Acquisition will work closely with the Director, Talent Acquisition to lead Quad’s Corporate and Agency Solutions Talent Acquisition strategy, supporting growth and transformation. Acting as a business partner, consultant and coach, this role will develop attraction strategies to meet talent objectives.

This position requires a proven track record in a large, transforming global organization. The manager must understand business and client needs, innovate, and execute aggressive talent strategies for immediate and future needs. They must blend strategic and operation execution, leverage their expertise in candidate sourcing, recruitment channels, candidate behavior, and market conditions. Based in Sussex, Wisconsin, this leader will oversee hiring, acquisition, integration, measurement and agency management for the assigned functions.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business to understand key strategies and how talent acquisition helps drive business success
  • Provide leadership, training, coaching, mentoring and development to the Talent Acquisition team of professionals assigned to the segment.
  • Develop creative talent acquisition strategies and guide proactive building of a pipeline of qualified, candidates to ensure future talent needs are met.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining talent market expertise including a comprehensive view of industry trends and competitors.
  • Provide expertise in market insights, talent landscape, and an understanding of talent needs to assist in developing segment growth plans and forecast.
  • In collaboration with the Director Talent Acquisition, assess and implement new talent acquisition systems, infrastructure, tools and analytics which consistently deliver on strategic business objectives.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and talent team to refine and manage full lifecycle recruiting, interviewing, and hiring process that is efficient and offers a positive candidate experience from first contact through onboarding.
  • Analyze outcomes to lead and drive comprehensive change management initiatives to enhance recruiting service delivery, ensuring seamless integration of new processes, technologies, and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvements, develop strategic plans, and implement solutions that optimize efficiency and effectiveness in Talent Acquisition.
  • Identify and implement recruiting models to support Quad’s unique talent profile across assigned segments.
  • Partner with Marketing & Internal Communications to support recruitment marketing needs.
  • Leverage social networking and other leading edge recruiting technologies and tools to connect with a broad and diverse talent network.
  • In support of assigned segments, direct the selection, contracting and management of vendors including search firm partners, job posting vendors, candidate networking tools, assessment vendors, etc.
  • Form collaborative relationships with business leaders, HRBP, Total Rewards, Talent Management and Communications to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to hiring talent.
  • Ensure talent acquisition compliance with internal controls, federal/state laws and regulations related to hiring practices in collaboration with in-house counsel and HR leaders.
  • Partners with business leadership to identify and develop TA strategies supporting their workforce design, identify gaps and plan processes to directly support business initiatives through hiring people.
  • Acts as liaison with other HR COE teams to coordinate development of programs, systems and processes to be used to support hiring.
  • Collaborates and strategizes with Talent Management and Hiring Managers to acquire and retain top talent with a focus of building a pipeline for future needs.
  • Monitors the effectiveness of the Talent Acquisition team, its programs and projects through the tracking of key goals, measurement and KPIs.
  • Oversee and manage all candidate activities within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS). Monitor and analyze ATS data to identify trends, streamline process, and implement best practices. Ensure accurate and timely updates, maintain data integrity and provide training and support to users for maximizing the system’s capabilities.

Job Requirements:

  • 7 years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with a focus on leadership roles or management-level positions
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or commensurate experience.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices, trends, and state-of-the-art tools and technology, external talent acquisition partners and networks.
  • Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills and ability to drive strong talent outcomes in partnership with business leaders across the organization and external talent acquisition partners.
  • Agility to build out projects when business demands.
  • Experience developing and executing employment branding strategies.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing technology solutions to enable scalable, sustainable recruiting strategies across a wide range of talent categories.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills; bias for performance measurement.
  • Demonstrated experience building high performance teams, effective partnerships and collaborative stakeholder relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Understanding of employment laws and regulations relevant to the recruitment function.
  • Ability to set and balance short- and long-term priorities and remain focused within a rigorous, fast-paced and dynamic environment. Effective project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Have a passion for personal learning and development to be able to grow with the company.
  • Excellent ability to communicate with candidates to internal stakeholders, and to build strong relationships
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment technologies.
  • Ability to navigate complex workflows and adapt to changing hiring needs
