We are seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic postal team. You bring deep technical knowledge and application development experience. You are someone who sees the big system picture but can also dive deep into implementation details. You’re equally comfortable with presenting technical details to a variety of parties (Eng, Product, End Users) as well as providing direction, and emphasis on best practices to the rest of the development organization.

Your role in our future :

Own, design and develop scalable software systems for the postal platform and the integration into the larger Quadient software platform

Work with the team on the technical direction and implementation of projects and specific domains, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical standards within the team and across Quadient software teams

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancements.

Use best practices in coding, design, and architecture.

Optimize and enhance application performance, security, and scalability.

Participate in code reviews, design reviews, and architectural discussions.

Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure the postal platform remains innovative and competitive.

Document design decisions, system designs, and technical specifications.

Your profile :

5-7 years experience in software development designing and creating solutions utilizing .NET.

Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer or similar role.

Proficiency in multiple programming languages, with a strong aptitude for C#.

Preferred proficiency with SQL Server / SQL Database, with a background in Database systems.

Proficiency with source control systems, Git preferred.

Proficiency with writing unit tests and using unit testing frameworks.

Experience with cloud-based technologies, particularly Azure.

Strong understanding of software development methodologies, design principles, and best practices.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to diagnose software and team operational issues and work with end users to implement process improvements

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience with full stack development is preferred.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

This position has a salary range of :

139,000.00 - $208,600.00

Quadient, Inc. has standard ranges for all U.S. - based roles, based on function, level, and scope, which are benchmarked against companies of similar size and growth-stage. Final salary offers are determined by multiple factors, which may include (but are not limited to) geographic location and candidate experience and expertise. As such, they may vary from the ranges listed.
