Experience checking patients in and out
Scheduling appointments
Verifying insurance
Answering phones
Collecting and processing payments
Obtaining pre-authorizations
Documenting and updating patient information in EMR
DUTIES:
The duties of the Medical Receptionist include but are not limited to the following:
Answer phones
Register and check in patients
Document and update patient information in EMR
Schedule appointments
Verify insurance eligibility and benefits at each visit
Scan document into electronic medical records
Obtain prior authorizations
Other duties as assigned
