Medical Scribe Ophthalmology Prince Frederick, Maryland Pay From $21 / hr. MUST : Experienced Medical Scribe Ophthalmology Must have 6 plus months of Medical Scribe experience Must have Ophthalmology experience Must have strong computer skills Must have experience with EMR; Knowledge of EMA highly preferred Must be a strong and fast at typing Must have a background within the medical field DUTIES : The Medical Scribe Ophthalmology will be responsible for but not limited to the following : Accompany the physician into the exam room Document the history of the patient's present illness Document the Review-of-Systems (ROS) and physical examination Enter vital signs and keep track of lab values Look up pertinent past medical records Keep track of and enter the results of imaging studies Prioritize the physician's time by bringing critical lab results to his / her attention Type progress notes Enter the patient's discharge plan and any prescriptions
