MUST:
Experienced Security ISSO
Active DoD Secret clearance with eligibility for Top Secret/SCI
Also must past a T4 Federal background check
Active Secret to start is highly desired
7 years of progressive IA experience
2 years of experience in an ISSO capacity supporting the Federal Government
Experience with ISO, NIST and US Government standards and cybersecurity frameworks (e.g. FISMA, FIPS, HSPD), system administration
IT security management, engineering, and analysis experience
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
High attention to detail
At least ONE of the following active certifications : CISSP, GIAC, CNDA or CRISC
Bachelors Degree in a related field ideally Cyber Security, IT Management or similar or 8 additional years of experience
DUTIES:
Oversee and work with the IT Security Support team supporting Federal client
Provide technical assistance in the designing and implementation of solutions for protecting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of sensitive information
Provide technical support for overall IT systems including: Security improvements, vulnerability assessments, risk assessments, network security and more
Participate in design of information system contingency plans that maintain appropriate levels of protection and meet time requirements for minimizing operations
Conduct security tests and audits
Participate in the management of accreditation of the Federal Client's systems evaluating and certifying the implementation FISMA, the NIST security guidelines, and the Departments plans, policies and guidelines
