VTC Technician
Location : Bethesda, MD
Pay : $37 per hour
MUST :
Must have an active Secret Clearance
Experienced VTC Technician
3 years' experience supporting VTC equipment
3 years' experience providing user support for VTC conferences and events
3 years' experience working with multiple hardware vendors
Experience configuring and supporting Microsoft Office 365
Hands-on experience supporting desktop hardware, software, and mobile devices
Management and coordination experience with large complex video / audio events
Experience with supporting Zoom for Government, WebEx, Microsoft Teams, Google
Federal experience supporting mobile communications and platforms is preferred
DUTIES :
Responsible for supporting Video Teleconferencing equipment
Responsible for working with vendors on repair of equipment
Responsible for working with telecommunications vendors when provisioning services for mobile devices
Responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining desktop applications to include Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Professional, and other desk applications as deemed appropriate
Manage Video Teleconferencing (VTC) support for our domestic customers
Responsible for setup, configuration, and scheduling of VTC conferences
Manage multiple video collaboration applications to include Zoom for Government, WebEx, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and other video collaboration platforms
Work closely with customers to ensure all VTC and associated equipment is operational and tested prior to an event
Work closely with VTC vendors upgrading, configuring, and replacement of equipment as required
Responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining bureau VTC systems and accessories
Responsible for supporting VTC conferences for both internal and external customers
Responsible for working with VTC vendors on upgrades, configurations, and replacement of equipment
Responsible for configuring video collaboration applications such as Zoom for Government, WebEx, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and other video collaboration platforms
Provide backup support for all makes and models of laptops
Provide backup support for inventory management of all mobile communication devices
Provide backup support to customers on problem resolution for mobile communications
Provide backup support for supporting teleworking personnel throughout the organization on problem resolution and support
Monitor and respond to email a minimum of 3 times per week
Complete required compliance training as assigned
Other duties as assigned
