Role : Test Data Management (TDM) Lead / Architect
Location : Woonsocket, RI (Initial Remote so that candidate can relocate)
Job Type : Contract
Key Responsibilities :
- TDM Architecture & Implementation :
o Architect, implement, and optimize enterprise-level Test Data Management (TDM) solutions.
o Develop strategies for data masking, data subsetting, synthetic data generation, and data profiling.
o Design and implement TDM solutions for both on-premises and cloud-based environments (AWS,
Azure, GCP).
o Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations by implementing robust data
obfuscation techniques.
o Work with Broadcom Test Data Manager (CA TDM), BMC File Aid, X9 Assist, and Voltage
tools to facilitate secure and efficient test data provisioning.
o Lead data integration and migration projects, including mainframe to UNIX migrations.
o Implement Informatica IICS-based data integration solutions and optimize performance for DB2
and cloud storage.
o Develop Python-based automation scripts for data provisioning and validation.
o Implement and maintain Docker-based test data environments.
o Work closely with QA teams, developers, and business analysts to define test data requirements.
o Oversee test data reservation, golden copy creation, and environment refresh cycles.
o Provide guidance and mentorship to TDM engineers and QA teams.
o Drive continuous improvements, innovation, and automation in TDM best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications :
o Broadcom TDM, BMC File Aid, X9 Assist, Voltage.
o Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, PostgreSQL, Greenplum, Hadoop Hive.
o AWS cloud-based data obfuscation.
o COBOL, JCL, Shell Scripting, Python, Java.
o Middleware and API testing (SOAP UI, RESTful APIs, Web Services).
o Ansible & Puppet for automation.
o Experience with HP ALM, JIRA, MKS, ChangeMan, Endevor.
o Expertise in automation frameworks and Excel Macros for test data management.
o Health Insurance experience (recent – minimum 4 years) is a must
o Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive TDM best practices.
