Job Description:
We are looking for a talented and passionate Front-End Engineer to join our dynamic team in Redmond, WA. As a Front-End Engineer, you will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to build modern, scalable, and responsive web applications. You will have the opportunity to influence the user experience and contribute to the growth and development of cutting-edge features in our product suite.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain user-facing features for web applications.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create visually appealing and intuitive interfaces.
- Implement reusable, modular, and scalable front-end components using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring a seamless experience for users.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in front-end development.
- Work in an agile environment, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6 ).
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and how to integrate with back-end systems.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Familiarity with cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to address them.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with TypeScript and state management tools (e.g., Redux, MobX).
- Familiarity with CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS, LESS).
- Knowledge of front-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and build tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel).
- Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
