Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Delivery Head Google Cloud Platform Technical Sales to lead, strategize, and drive the successful delivery of Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) solutions for enterprise clients. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, sales leadership, and delivery management to ensure seamless execution of cloud solutions and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale Google Cloud Platform engagements, building high-performing teams, and fostering strong customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery & Execution:
- Oversee the successful delivery of Google Cloud Platform-based solutions, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and aligned with client expectations.
- Lead end-to-end cloud transformation initiatives, including cloud migrations, application modernization, data engineering, and AI/ML solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
- Define and implement best practices, governance models, and delivery frameworks for cloud engagements.
- Ensure high standards of customer satisfaction and project excellence, addressing any technical or delivery challenges proactively.
Technical Sales & Pre-Sales Support:
- Collaborate with sales teams to develop Google Cloud Platform solution strategies, engaging with clients to understand business needs and technical requirements.
- Lead pre-sales efforts, including technical proposals, RFP responses, presentations, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs).
- Position Google Cloud Platform as the preferred cloud platform by articulating the value proposition and business benefits to key stakeholders.
Client & Stakeholder Management:
- Build and nurture executive-level relationships with enterprise clients, acting as a trusted advisor on their cloud journey.
- Work closely with Google Cloud partners, aligning strategies to maximize business growth opportunities.
- Manage C-level interactions, negotiations, and contract discussions to drive successful cloud engagements.
Team Leadership & Growth:
- Build and mentor a high-performing team of Google Cloud Platform architects, engineers, and delivery managers.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation, encouraging certifications and technical excellence.
- Drive resource planning, allocation, and skill development to meet evolving project demands.
Revenue & Business Growth:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Google Cloud Platform ecosystem, driving revenue growth through strategic initiatives.
- Optimize delivery models to increase profitability, improve efficiency, and enhance client retention.
- Leverage market trends and competitive insights to shape Google Cloud Platform go-to-market (GTM) strategies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Must-Have:
- 10- 15 years of IT experience, with at least 5 years in Google Cloud Platform delivery leadership and cloud sales.
- Strong technical knowledge of Google Cloud services (Compute, BigQuery, Kubernetes, Anthos, AI/ML, Cloud Security, Networking, IAM, etc.).
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale Google Cloud Platform projects across industries such as BFSI, Healthcare, Retail, and Manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience in cloud migrations, data engineering, AI/ML, and cloud-native application development.
- Expertise in cloud pre-sales, technical solutioning, and RFP responses.
- Strong business acumen, client engagement, and stakeholder management experience.
- Familiarity with multi-cloud (AWS, Azure), hybrid cloud strategies, and DevOps.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Preferred:
- Google Cloud certifications (e.g., Professional Cloud Architect, Professional Data Engineer, Professional Cloud Security Engineer).
- Experience with Terraform, Kubernetes (GKE), CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools.
- Prior experience in Google Cloud Platform partnership management and alliances.
