Your job duties will include:
Lead the Dietary Department
- Plan, organize, and oversee all dietary programs and activities, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Work closely with other departments to align dietary services with overall patient care goals.
- Develop and maintain dietary policies and procedures to guide the team.
Provide Excellent Nutrition Services
- Collaborate with patients, families, and medical staff to create individualized meal plans that align with dietary needs and preferences.
- Supervise meal preparation to ensure food quality, presentation, and adherence to dietary restrictions.
- Conduct regular evaluations of patient satisfaction with meals and dining services.
Train and Support the Team
- Recruit, train, and mentor dietary staff to maintain a skilled and motivated team.
- Schedule and oversee daily tasks to ensure seamless operations.
- Foster a positive and collaborative working environment that values every team member’s contribution.
Qualifications
- High school diploma (required); completion of an accredited dietetic training program (preferred).
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within food service, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Certification as a Food Service Director (preferred).
