Position Overview
We are seeking a Corporate Legal Intern to join our Legal Department and gain hands-on experience in corporate law, regulatory compliance, and contract management within the chemical manufacturing industry. This internship offers exposure to a dynamic global legal environment and the opportunity to work alongside experienced legal professionals on a wide range of legal matters.
Key Responsibilities
Legal Research & Analysis: Conduct legal research on corporate, regulatory, and environmental laws affecting the chemical industry.
Contract Review & Drafting: Assist in drafting, reviewing, and analyzing commercial agreements, NDAs, and other legal documents.
Regulatory Compliance Support: Assist in ensuring compliance with industry regulations, including environmental, health & safety, and trade laws.
Corporate Governance: Support corporate governance matters, including entity management, board resolutions, and internal policies.
Litigation & Risk Management: Assist in document review, case preparation, and risk assessments.
Intellectual Property & Trade Compliance: Support legal teams in managing patents, trademarks, and trade compliance matters.
Administrative & Legal Operations: Help maintain legal databases, track deadlines, and organize legal files.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a J.D. or LL.M. from an accredited law school.
Strong academic performance with coursework in corporate law, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
Excellent research, analytical, and communication skills.
Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Prior internship or experience in a corporate or legal setting is a plus.
Interest in the chemical, manufacturing, or industrial sectors preferred.
