Position Summary:
This position is responsible for performing first level on-site technical and administrative duties within the manufacturing environment. Follows standard procedures and has readily available supervision or management.
What You Will Do
- Collect, test, analyze and record results of chemical samples on a daily basis.
- Enter data for daily results into site software program.
- Inventory management and ordering of all onsite chemicals
- Coordinate and meet all deliveries to the customer location
- Participate in addition of chemicals; including coolants, greases, oils, lubricants, cleaners and biocides as directed by customer staff.
- Work with the customer to identify leaks and other causes of higher than average usages
- Monthly usage report creation and distribution
- Assist in disposal of contaminated articles (i.e. pails, gloves, samples, etc.) in accordance with prescribed measures, including waste management and recycling initiatives.
- Assist in maintaining and calibrating all laboratory equipment; such as scales, pH meters, glassware, incubators, etc. in accordance with site control plan.
- Has responsibility for general cleaning of laboratory and equipment (i.e. mopping, sweeping, emptying trash, etc.).
- Supports site staff general organization initiatives (inventory, storage rooms, labeling, etc.)
- Comply with all Company Policies: to include but not limited to Code of Conduct and expense reporting, etc.
- On-site at customer location daily
- 4on/4off rotating schedule, day shift, weekends and holidays included
- Maintain the highest EH&S standards of all sites visited.
- High school diploma or GED required. May be required to obtain certifications/licenses.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Minimum of 1 - 2 years related industry experience required.

- Ability to work independently and/or with minimal supervision.
- Communications skills – Written, verbal and active listening.
- Proficient in English – Written and spoken.
- Must have basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
