Position Summary:
This role will be responsible for timely and accurate customer order processing, fulfillment, inventory and order tracking, which are sourced through external warehouses and tollers. Role must proactively oversee the entire order management process and collaborate closely with Logistics, Warehouse, Contract Manufacturing to maintain excellence for overall customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. The role will also be well versed in JDE and various software systems and technologies to support with process improvements and streamlining the Supply Chain.
Job Accountabilities:
- Oversees daily order fulfillment activities and order processing with coordination with warehousing, tollers and logistics companies
- Monitors replenishment plan execution and directly handles DRP operations by setting up parameters including lead time, safety stocks level, min-max to ensure the optimal stock balance
- Establishes and standardizes efficient DRP process for warehousing and tollers sourced or inter-company transit FG and ensures successful launch of process locally by scheduling team
- Proactively manages open orders to ensure warehouse/toller orders are accepted and ship-confirmed in a timely manner and measures OTIF metric
- Measures and collects necessary shipping documents for orders to ensure that products are delivered to customers in a timely and accurate manner
- Coordinates with Procurement on management of warehouse and toller pricing
- Develops standard operating procedures (SOPs) for inventory control, logistics management and order fulfillment to meet operational goals
- Supplies as necessary on Supply chain process improvement project to improve fulfillment to customers
Education, Experience, Skills & Competencies
- Bachelors degree or above preferred
- Enhanced skills of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Knowledgeable of order entry processes and procedures
- JD Edwards and Power BI experience is a plus
- Experience in relevant industry in FMCG/ Automotive/Chemical is preferred
- At least 5 years of experience in DRP planning and inventory management
