Summary of Position :
Reporting to the Senior Director of Data, Analytics, and Technical Solutions Lead - Data Integration at Quaker Houghton will hands on in developing technology design, implementation and operational activities required to support Quaker Houghton business operations and long-term strategy. This role is responsible to lead the company wide effort to normalize, standardize and build operational processes for all data that comes into, out of, or is shared across, systems and platforms within the Quaker Houghton technology landscape.
Bringing a strong technical expertise in data integration tools, excellent project and people leadership skills, and a deep understanding of data architecture and governance this role will lead the development and execution of the integration strategy to ensure that data is consistently and accurately integrated, enabling seamless data flow across different business systems, as well as the assessment, selection and implementation of supporting technology, ensuring that the team has the required skills and knowledge to both implement and support the selected tool / s, whilst maintaining and gracefully retiring the existing integration solutions.
Working closely with the other Digital Information Technology teams, the role must ensure the robustness of the solution, including redundancy, performance monitoring, data quality, compliance, security and completeness of the data it handles. This role is critical in supporting the organization's data-driven initiatives by ensuring that integrated data is available, reliable, and secure.
What will you do?
- Manage the full life-cycle of integration technology solutions aligned with the overall business and technology goals and objectives.
- Participate in the evaluation, selection, implementation and administration of integration technology, systems, processes, data flows, and dependencies per architectural and data governance standards; ensures data integrity across the company systems.
- Provides hands-on day-to-day support and monitoring of data integrations, tools and process
- Directly manage the delivery of integration priorities, demand prioritization, and activities to ensure work aligns with the broader Enterprise Data Strategy and Digital Information Technology strategies and outcomes.
- Play a hands-on role in projects in the design, implementation and testing of integration technology
- Ensure selected technologies and processes are scalable and allow for easy integration of new data sources.
- Establish and develop tracking, reporting for data integration Key Performance Indicators.
- Partner with applications and analytics teams to support agreed portfolio priorities and continue to develop and enhance the integration technologies to evolving technology and business needs.
- Lead and manage data integration projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and minimize disruptions to business operations.
- Lead a team of consultant data engineers, integration specialists, and analysts on larger projects
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and ensure that data integration efforts meet those needs.
- Monitor the performance of data integration processes and systems, identifying and resolving issues proactively.
- Optimize data workflows to improve efficiency and reduce latency.
- Implement data security measures within the integration processes to protect sensitive information continuously assessing and mitigating risks associated with data integration activities.
- Document data integration processes, including data flows, mappings, and transformation logic.
- Provide regular reports on the status, performance, and outcomes of data integration initiatives to senior management
