Position Overview :
The Recruiter will be a key contributor to the business, partnering closely with hiring managers and HR partners to develop comprehensive recruitment strategies that enhance our ability to attract and secure top talent.
The Recruiter encompass employee recruitment activities including participation in job fairs explaining benefits and company policies. The Recruiter will review applicants, evaluate qualifications and hire employees. The position also assists with New Employee orientation and administers the applicant tracking system used by the company.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and ideal candidate profiles.
- Develop and implement innovative recruitment strategies using various techniques and channels, including online databases, employee referrals, cold-calling, and professional organizations.
- Build strong relationships with hiring managers, advising them on talent landscapes and recruiting strategies.
- Establish and maintain robust external networks, bringing fresh ideas and out-of-the-box thinking to source top talent.
- Stay updated on market trends and best practices in recruitment.
- Utilize our ATS (Paycom) to manage the recruitment process efficiently.
- Follow established processes while identifying opportunities for greater efficiency.
- Ensure ongoing communication with hiring managers and internal partners.
- Provide a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment and hiring process.
- Report on key sourcing and recruiting metrics, using data to inform future strategies.
- Support diversity and inclusion initiatives by sourcing and engaging a diverse pool of candidates.
Supervisory Responsibility
No direct management or supervisory responsibilities.
Safety
Observe safety and security policies and procedures, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment including but not limited to eye and toe protection during visits to the manufacturing floor. Report potentially unsafe conditions; and use equipment and materials properly. Follow department-specific safety requirements during visits to the production floor.
Travel
Approximately 15% travel is required to visit Quaker facilities and attend job fairs or recruiting events.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday during normal business hours. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

It is an essential job function and safety rule, applicable to every employee working in a safety sensitive classified position, to be able to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Work Environment
Although the employee will primarily be in an office setting, while performing the duties of this job, the employee may need to visit the factory and be exposed to climactic variations, various levels of vibration, and moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the office is usually low, but hearing protection may be advisable or required for prolonged visits to certain parts of the factory.
