at the Ranch!Flexible schedule. While weekends are required for horse care, you have the freedom to structure your workweek.Chance to grow the Ranch. You’ll play a key role in developing programs and filling boarding slots to create a thriving equine community.What You’ll Do:
- Teach riding lessons and plan camps, workshops, and special events.
- Oversee horse care and facility upkeep to keep our Ranch running smoothly.
- Recruit, supervise, and support volunteers, equine specialists, and camp staff.
- Ensure all boarding slots are filled by connecting with potential boarders.
- Help generate new revenue opportunities through events, programs, and services.
- Work some weekends for horse care, but with flexibility to balance your schedule.
What We’re Looking For:
- Equine expertise. Either a Bachelor’s degree in Equine Studies or 5 years of hands-on horse experience.
- Leadership skills. You can train staff, work independently, and manage operations with confidence.
- People skills. You enjoy working with individuals and small groups to create a welcoming Ranch environment.
- Must pass background checks and be medically cleared to work with children and animals.

- Job Type: Full-time
- Compensation Options:
- With on-site housing: $23,000 - $26,000 per year private cabin (a significant financial benefit) performance-based bonuses for hiring and filling all boarding slots and growing programs.
- Without on-site housing: $28,000 - $30,000 per year performance-based bonuses for program growth and filling boarding slots.
- Schedule: Includes some weekends, but with a flexible workweek.
- Location: Marshalltown, IA 50158 (Must be able to commute or relocate before starting)
