IT Support Technician
Job Type:

About the Company:
QualFab serves a diverse and growing base of customers and industries both domestically
and internationally, providing stainless and inconel fabrications for large OEMs, as well as
replacement parts for all types of furnaces and process equipment. We are a rapidly
growing company that has been in business for over 25 years.
Essential Function:
Looking for a self-motivated team-player that works well with others and has a willingness
to grow into a technology lead position. Occasional after-hours work may be needed for
upgrades (if needed).
Duties:
- Work with approximately 50 individuals at all job levels in various environments including office, manufacturing, and remote positions to troubleshoot technology
related matters
- Use Ticket Software to:
o Monitor help desk tickets and work to provide solutions for assigned tasks
o Track company end point equipment
o Maintain a knowledge/solutions database
- Use Endpoint Software for:
o Patch management
o Security management
o OS deployment & replication
o Mobile device management
o Application control
o Providing remote support/troubleshooting
- Build/setup computers, laptops, mobile devices, tablets, repair, and maintain
- Support a secure IT environment for all devices and users
- Learn to build reports in ERP software system and help users when needed
- Train personnel in the use of PC hardware and software
- Evaluate new PC systems and related equipment
- Assist with administration and troubleshooting duties in the following areas:
o User account access and roles in Active Directory
o Maintaining Office 365 accounts and email
o Maintaining Office 365 SharePoint sites
o User account access and roles in ERP system
o Maintaining security awareness software training program assignments and reporting
o Secure passwords for devices and systems using vault software
o Wi-Fi network devices and access points
o IP phone system
o LAN Network, WAN, and security network
o Two physical servers, five virtual machines
o Printers and scanners
o Key Fobs for employee entry/gate access to shop and office doors
o NAS file servers and backups
- Stay up to date with technology and work towards efficiency wherever possible
Specific Accountabilities:
- Continually improve our help desk operations with better procedures and service
- Monitor day to day devices and troubleshoot problems when they arise
- Maintain a secure workplace environment
- Work towards leaning out and improving end-user process
- Be open to other assignments as needed
Job Requirements:
- Educational background, training or related experience
- Two years of IT experience or professional PC repair/setup experience
- Experience with Microsoft Windows OS, Mac OSX, Mac iOS, Android OS
- Experience with Microsoft Office programs
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent
- Prepare solutions for technical issues
- Works well with others
- Keep confidential data secure

Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour
