Pay Rate: Up to $28.00/Hour (Depending on Experience)

General Description:

We are looking for a 2nd Shift Painter/Shipping Lead at our Richmond, VA facility. While painting will only make up 20% of the role, the ideal candidate will be a versatile switch hitter, skilled in multiple areas of the shop. In addition to painting, this position will include overseeing shipping operations, operating overhead cranes, loading/unloading materials, rigging, and performing other key production support tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform painting tasks, covering up to 20% of the role
• Lead and coordinate shipping operations, ensuring accurate and timely processing
• Operate overhead cranes to move materials and assist with production processes
• Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and storage
• Perform rigging duties for equipment and materials as required
• Read and measure accurately using a tape measure to ensure precision in production
• Conduct respiratory fit tests and maintain safety standards for handling materials
• Support other departments by adapting to various tasks within the shop
• Follow safety protocols and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when working with chemicals and equipment
