About the Role
We’re seeking a skilled Electrical Technician to join our team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing industrial electrical and electronic control systems to ensure smooth production operations. This role works closely with engineers, machine operators, and fellow maintenance team members.
\n- Troubleshoot and test PLC programs (RSLogix 500 & RSLogix 5000 experience preferred).
- Install, program, and repair VFDs and soft start systems.
- Perform repairs, upgrades, and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment.
- Work on 4-20 mA loops, analog controls, temperature control systems, and more.
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and ladder logic.
- Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with NEC, NFPA, and OSHA regulations.
- Minimum 3 years as an industrial electrician in a manufacturing setting.
- Associate degree in Electrical Engineering OR 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities with PLC, HMI, VFDs, and AC/DC drives.
- Ability to work with 120V, 277V, 480V, and 3-phase electrical systems.
- Familiarity with Lockout/Tagout procedures and workplace safety.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Excel, Word, Outlook, Adobe (AX a plus).
- Must have a basic set of SAE/metric tools and a digital multimeter.
- Experience with extrusion, vacuum/resin control systems, and flexo printing.
- Lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Work in tight spaces, varied temperatures, and elevated platforms (scaffolding, lifts, ladders, etc.).
- Operate a forklift, scissor lift, and man lift.
