Position: Machinist (Lathe / CNC / Manual)
Location: Louisa, VA
Duration: Full Time, Contract to Hire
Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Pay Range: Up to $30/hr. (Depending on experience)
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in either Lathe, Manual or CNC Machining. This role offers competitive compensation and opportunities for career growth.
\n- Operate Lathe, Manual and / or CNC machines to produce precision parts
- Perform lathe operations with high accuracy and efficiency
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Ensure all machinery is maintained and operated safely
- Produce high-quality work within tight tolerances and deadlines
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a machinist, with a strong preference for candidates with manual machining expertise
- Extensive knowledge of Lathe, Manual and CNC machines
- Journeyman card is a plus, but not mandatory
- Strong lathe operation skills are highly valued
- Ability to lead and manage the machining department, if applicable
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to run and troubleshoot various manual and CNC machines
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Subject to a pre-employment drug test and/or background check.
