This person will work remotely but must live in either Hattiesburg, Gulfport, Biloxi Mississippi, South Jackson, Meridian, Pearl, Madison, Mississippi. This position will be Remote/Hybrid.
Overview
As the Community Relations individual, you will play a critical role in shaping revenue growth and sales strategies specifically within the Medicare and health plan sectors. This hands-on, producing role requires spearheading efforts to expand market share, build strong client relationships, and exceed ambitious sales targets within Medicare Advantage and related Medicare services. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in direct selling within the Medicare and health plan markets.
Business Development
- Work your assigned communities to help provide Broker education, Training and Support for the Health Plan and help people with Medicare understanding their health insurance options with the plan.
- Host Health and Wellness events that can help Medicare Beneficiaries learn about coverage and stay healthy.
- Connect and build an ambassador relationship with our network providers to provider training and education on our plan benefits
- Provide approved marketing and informational materials for display and distribution
- Provide Quality Health and Wellness programs, and benefits education events in cooperation with our healthcare providers
- Host events that can help potential members learn about our plan coverage, get preventive health screenings and stay active
- Actively prospect, develop, and close high-value Medicare opportunities, personally managing relationships with key Medicare Advantage accounts.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships at client organizations, becoming a trusted partner in the Medicare space.
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies aimed at increasing market share and achieving aggressive revenue goals specifically in the Medicare Advantage and health plan sectors.
- Work closely with product, operations, and marketing teams to ensure alignment between sales objectives and service delivery capabilities tailored to Medicare clients.
- Provide market feedback to influence Medicare product development and refine value propositions for current and future Medicare offerings.
- Partner with marketing to design and execute lead generation strategies, including targeted content, events, and digital campaigns specifically tailored to the Medicare audience in your area. Must be in the area in order to execute events.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments within the Medicare space to identify new business opportunities and threats.
- Represent the company at industry conferences, networking events, and trade shows to increase brand visibility and generate Medicare-related leads.
- Seek partnership opportunities with organizations to improve the health of our community

Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Must have an Active Mississippi Health Insurance License.
- Deep understanding of the Medicare and health plan markets, including regulatory landscape, market drivers, and competitive dynamics.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Experience working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
