Summary:
The Machine Operator will be responsible for operation of fabricating machines that punch, shape, cut, bend and structure.
Responsibilities:
· Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
· Observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction.
· Measure work piece dimensions, using rule, template, or other measuring instruments to determine.
· Accurate operation of machine.
· Remove burrs, sharp edges, rust or scale from work piece, using a file, wire brush or grinder.
· Perform minor machine maintenance, such as oiling machines, dies, or work pieces.
· Assist machine operators in setting up machine.
· Ability to read blueprints
· Class A: Ficep, 48C, Combo Drills, Python
· Class B: Drill Line, 2500, Peddiwriter, 1800, Angle Line, Bed Drill and Burn Table.
· Class C: Saw, Tag Machine, Perona Punch.
Qualifications:
· Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 70 pounds.
· Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as necessary.
· Must be punctual and have a strong work ethic.
· Must be willing to submit to a drug screen.
