Our client, a worldwide supplier of climate control products and services for the transportation industry, has an excellent career opportunity for an Air Conditioning Installation Technician at our High Point, NC Facility.
We primarily install on new and used School Buses and Commercial (Shuttle Type) Buses. The typical components are Compressor, Condenser, Evaporator, Mounts, Pulleys, Hoses and Electrical.
Description : Responsibilities :
Work in a shop environment with your hands
Accurately install components on buses
Be able to work with minimal supervision as well as part of a team
Work with a safety mindset
Properly maintain company owned building, tools & equipment
Successfully communicate with Location Manager, Office Staff and Team Members
Complete work in a timely and accurate manner
Perform other tasks as required
Qualifications :
Have working knowledge of hand, battery operated and pneumatic tools
Must have your own basic tools
Working knowledge of Mechanical Systems
Working knowledge of Electrical Systems
Read and understand technical manuals, drawings & schematics
Intermediate computer skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Education and Work Experience :
2 years of relevant experience
High School Diploma or GED
Technical School is a plus
Knowledge of Mobile Air Conditioning is a plus
609 Certification is a plus
CDL is a plus
Former employment as a technician or Mechanic is a plus
