Painter/Prepper
Do you like working in a fast-paced environment? Are you looking for work in the Jeffersonville Area? Qualified Staffing is hiring for our client, a trucking equipment company located in Jeffersonville, IN and we want you!
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday: 7:00am-3:30pm
- Overtime will be offered based on needs
Pay Rate:
- $18.00-$19.50 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and paint vehicles, ensuring a smooth finish and high quality
- Sanding and removing parts, and masking areas to protect them from the paint
- Consulting the vehicle’s color code and mixing paints to match the exist finish
- Using spray guns, brushes, rollers or solvents to apply primers, lacquers, enamels, or epoxy
- Measuring paint thickness and evenness
Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift/and or move up to 50 lbs.
- Need good mathematical aptitude and organizational skills to work at a high level of accuracy.
- One year of factory-related experience in painting
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize job duties.
- Ability to communicate at all levels and the ability to function in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to maintain a neat, clean and organized work area.
